5-Day Jebel Siroua Trek

Day 1: Tizi N Tichka pass (2260 m) - Tachakchte

Our journey begins in Marrakech, where we meet our knowledgeable guide. We start our trip with a scenic drive towards the magnificent Tichka Pass, crossing the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, we enjoy the stunning views until we reach the charming village of Anzal. After a delightful picnic lunch, we continue our adventure to the picturesque village of Tachakchte. Here, we embark on a charming hike through vibrant fields, immersing ourselves in the natural beauty of the surroundings. As night falls, we find ourselves under a sky full of stars, surrounded by the peacefulness of the desert, where we will spend the night and indulge in a delicious dinner at our comfortable campsite.

Day 2: Tachakchte - Azib Aziwane (2,300m)
Our day begins with a satisfying breakfast as the sun rises over the horizon, before setting off on a rejuvenating hike through the quaint village of Tourtite. The winding paths of the village captivate us as we explore the maze-like streets, fully immersing ourselves in the local culture. Our journey continues through the breathtaking Amazfiyou Valley, where the Berber people have crafted traditional shelters for their sheep, showcasing their profound bond with the land. Later in the evening, we enjoy a delectable dinner that tantalizes our taste buds with delightful flavors. We retire to our comfortable tents in the peaceful surroundings of Azib d’Aziwane, where we surrender to a peaceful night’s sleep embraced by the tranquility of nature.

Day 3: Azib n'Aziwane - Azib N'Irriri (2,200 m)

Our hike takes us through vast and abundant meadows, immersing us in the captivating beauty of the surroundings. We cross the Azibs N’Tidasse, encountering the gleaming pastoral landscapes, before continuing onwards to the Azibs N’Irriri. Our path leads us through a small pass, offering breathtaking views that leave us amazed. As the day comes to an end, we discover the perfect spot to set up camp, nestled in the peaceful wilderness. Here, under the starry sky, we relax and embrace the tranquility of the night, surrounded by the untouched magnificence of nature.

Day 4: Azib N'Irri - Summit of Siroua (3,304 m) - Irriri

As the sun rises, we begin our journey towards the peak of the Anti-Atlas Mountains, the impressive Siroua peak. The views that unfold before us are truly breathtaking. Upon reaching the summit, we are greeted with a stunning panorama of the High Atlas Mountains and the southern slope of Djbel Siroua. We take a moment to appreciate the beauty and enjoy a picnic lunch before descending to our bivouac at 2,500 meters where we will spend the night surrounded by natural wonders.

Day 5: Irriri - Imassine - Marrakech

As we leave the vast meadows and towering landscapes behind, we head towards the captivating village of Amassine. The “agadir,” a citadel in the form of a spotlight, awaits us, offering a breathtaking view of the valley below. Its historical significance and architectural wonders leave us in awe. After exploring the village, we meet up with our driver, ready for the journey back to Marrakech. As we cross the Tichka Pass, we say goodbye to the magnificent High Atlas Mountains, taking with us cherished memories of our trip and the enchanting Berber culture.
