Our hike takes us through vast and abundant meadows, immersing us in the captivating beauty of the surroundings. We cross the Azibs N’Tidasse, encountering the gleaming pastoral landscapes, before continuing onwards to the Azibs N’Irriri. Our path leads us through a small pass, offering breathtaking views that leave us amazed. As the day comes to an end, we discover the perfect spot to set up camp, nestled in the peaceful wilderness. Here, under the starry sky, we relax and embrace the tranquility of the night, surrounded by the untouched magnificence of nature.
As the sun rises, we begin our journey towards the peak of the Anti-Atlas Mountains, the impressive Siroua peak. The views that unfold before us are truly breathtaking. Upon reaching the summit, we are greeted with a stunning panorama of the High Atlas Mountains and the southern slope of Djbel Siroua. We take a moment to appreciate the beauty and enjoy a picnic lunch before descending to our bivouac at 2,500 meters where we will spend the night surrounded by natural wonders.
As we leave the vast meadows and towering landscapes behind, we head towards the captivating village of Amassine. The “agadir,” a citadel in the form of a spotlight, awaits us, offering a breathtaking view of the valley below. Its historical significance and architectural wonders leave us in awe. After exploring the village, we meet up with our driver, ready for the journey back to Marrakech. As we cross the Tichka Pass, we say goodbye to the magnificent High Atlas Mountains, taking with us cherished memories of our trip and the enchanting Berber culture.
