Itinerary: Toubkal Ascent Trek 2 days

DAYS 1: MARRAKECH - IMLIL - THE REFUGE OF TOUBKAL:

Your adventure starts in the vibrant city of Marrakech, Morocco. From there, you’ll travel to the charming village of Imlil, located at 1,740 meters (5,710 feet) above sea level. Imlil is the starting point for your journey to Mount Toubkal. Our experienced local guide will be with you throughout the expedition. As you leave Imlil, you’ll be amazed by the stunning landscapes, traditional Berber villages, terraced fields, and fragrant juniper forests. You’ll also experience the warm hospitality of the Berber people.
On the first day, you’ll hike to the Toubkal Refuge, at 3,207 meters (10,522 feet). Here, you’ll enjoy a nourishing meal and rest well, preparing for the exciting ascent ahead.

Day 2: THE REFUGE OF TOUBKAL - TOUBKAL SUMMIT - IMLIL:

Get up early in the morning and have a delicious breakfast to start your day. Prepare yourself for the final climb ahead. Our guide will lead you to the peak of Mount Toubkal. During the hike, you will come across rocky paths and maybe even spot some snow or ice. Make sure to maintain a steady pace and take in the breathtaking views. Once you reach the summit, you will feel an overwhelming sense of joy. Look around and admire the stunning sights of the High Atlas Mountains. Capture the moment with some pictures and celebrate your amazing accomplishment.

Toubkal's History

For centuries, the Atlas Mountains have been home to several Berber tribes. Their way of life and customs still shape the region today.
